HOW DID YOU ALL MEET?

It all started with a swipe right on a dating app. We talked for a few months, decided to meet up for a first date and it was love at first site for both of us. We’ve been inseparable since.

HOW AND WHEN DID YOU KNOW THAT SHE WAS THE ONE?

Mackensea: She took me out for a fun night out and I had way too many shots, she got me home and held my hair while I puked my guts out. At some point I apparently passed out on the bathroom floor and she couldn’t wake me up to get me into the bed so she puts pillow under my head and then laid on the floor with me. I woke up the next morning and figured this out by the fact she was laying on the floor and didnt leave my side the whole night ❤

Breanna: She came to visit me one weekend and I spent the time showing her all my spots. The way she asked questions and was genuinely curious about my life and interests. I had never met someone who cared about what I had to say the way she cared. She made me feel special like no one else ever had.

WHAT ARE YOUR MARRIAGE GOALS?

To care for each other, love each other, and respect each other till the day were gone. All the hardships we may face, we’ll always make it through, because we have each other. Continue to better ourselves for each other and our little family.

WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE LIKE AT BURDOC FARMS?

Being a LGBTQ+ couple in our area isn’t always the easiest. We experienced discrimination during our wedding process and feared that it wouldn’t be easy finding a wedding venue that not only fit us, but made us feel welcomed. Sara and her team never once made us feel anything other than a happy engaged couple looking for our once in a lifetime wedding. She answered any questions we had, was completely flexible on pretty much anything we wanted and never made my wife, and I feel different. We would recommend this place till we are blue in the face. She gave us the wedding of our dreams and we couldn’t be more thankful than we are. Thank you BURDOC FARMS.

WHAT DID YOU ENJOY THE MOST AT BURDOC FARMS?

EVERYTHING but if we had to choose just two, it would be the big, beautiful window that we feel in love with and the view with the lake and the beautiful swans. We also loved that it was dog friendly since we have a dog that completes our little family ❤

WHAT WAS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT ON THE DAY OF YOUR WEDDING?

Besides saying I DO; it would be the pictures we took by the lighted walkway after the sun went down. Our pictures look like they came out of a story book. Also, were able to have family members from out of state come and help us celebrate.

WHAT GENERAL ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A COUPLE THAT IS PLANNING THEIR WEDDING NOW THAT YOU CAN LOOK BACK ON YOUR OWN?

Slow down, take a breath and enjoy the moment as long as you can. The day goes by so fast, so try and take the time to take it all in as much as you can. Oh, and book BURDOC FARMS, you won’t regret it.
