We have been putting little teasers here and there about changes coming to our business and we are finally ready to present Keith Glen! We broke ground in August for the site of our new event building. Keith Glen will be a 5,000 square foot, temperature controlled, steel building with an open layout. In the main reception room there will be 25 foot high ceilings complete with exposed wood beams and wrought iron chandeliers. A floor to ceiling fireplace will separate the main reception room and a smaller reception room that will also feature a bar area. The downstairs area will be complete with men and women’s restrooms and a prep kitchen. Upstairs will feature men and women’s changing/hangout rooms and offices.

Complete with side porches and stone finishes, the outside of Keith Glen will have a truly warm, inviting, and woodlands feel. The barn will be nestled in between large 70 year old oak trees, facing a four acre pond, and prairie land that serves as a habitat for all of the beautiful wildlife that Kentucky has to offer! Sticking with the Scottish roots of the Shepherd family, the name Keith comes from Clara Ethel Keith, Burwell Keith Shepherd Sr.’s mother, who was a descendant of the Keith Clan of Scotland. And Glen is a Scottish term for a deep valley. Keith Glen will allow you to still feel connected to the outdoors while offering all modern day comforts.

We are now accepting bookings in our year-round facility starting June of 2016. We are happy to invite wedding parties, corporate events, business retreats, company parties, showers, anniversary parties, reunions etc. Call us today to schedule a viewing of our new event barn!
