Tobacco Barn Venue

The Tobacco Barn at Burdoc Farms
Historic charm, boho vibes, and total countryside magic.
The Tobacco Barn is one of Burdoc Farms’ most iconic wedding spaces—so iconic, it was recognized by Rustic Bride as one of the Top 48 Historic Barns in the U.S. to get married. Built in 1952, this barn served the Shepherd family’s cattle and tobacco operations until 2005, and in 2012 it transformed into the rustic-chic wedding venue couples love today.

This venue brings the authentic barn wedding aesthetic, natural Kentucky beauty, wide-open fields, vintage details, and that perfect blend of rustic + romantic. It’s flexible, charming, and designed for couples who want a wedding day that feels warm, timeless, and full of character.

With two historic barns—the Tobacco Barn for your reception and the Chapel Barn for your ceremony—this venue delivers all the vintage, boho, nature-lover energy you could ever want. If you’re dreaming of a countryside wedding surrounded by open fields, golden sunsets, and wide-open Kentucky views, this is the place.

The Chapel Barn

The Chapel Barn is perfect for couples who want an outdoor ceremony feel with a touch of cozy elegance. It features:
  • White church pews for your guests
  • Your choice of two ceremony arches or a wooden cross
  • A beautiful white door with lace curtains for your grand entrance
It’s giving vintage-romantic, open-air, and totally photo-ready.

The Tobacco Barn (Reception Barn)
Rustic chic meets fairytale lighting.
Your reception unfolds inside the historic Tobacco Barn—vintage charm everywhere, plus all the modern essentials you need:
  • Round tables + champagne Chiavari chairs
  • Catering kitchen + guest restrooms
  • A full bar area for celebrating
  • Three wooden spools, a white antique table, and curated décor pieces you can use any way you want

We keep it comfy on both sides:

  • The Groom’s Man Cave includes a TV, fridge, and space to bring your gaming console—ideal for the pre-ceremony hangout.
